Sorry, I’ve never been able to get videos to imbed. This clip is from 1991 when Carson had Robin Williams and Jonathan Winters on the show. It’s total chaos and I’ve just about pissed myself watching it. Big Grin

My favorite guest was Rodney Dangerfield. Not only was he hilarious but Johnny had so much fun playing straight man.

On the coattails of classic Johnny Carson clips, my mother has a DVD set of old Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. Talk about HILARIOUS!!! "Funny" comedians of today are EXTREMELY rare; few and far between. Just about extinct...

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Johnny was the king of the talk show. It may partly be because he defined the job, but he was perfect combination of comedian, interviewer, straight man, and guy you wanted to hang around with.

There are lots of great bits over the years. I loved Carnac myself.
