A few years ago, while searching for a spare/loaner/foul weather 12 ga. shotgun I came across the CZ 712 ALS. ALS stands for "Adjustable length stock". Not the prettiest belle at the ball, but functional none-the-less. Then my mind began to wander ... I'll get the gun with a bird/clays barrel and order a short 20" barrel for home defense. So I brought the gun. AND ... when I tried to order a second barrel (in ANY configuration) I ran into a dead end.

Can anyone help me find a spare 12 ga. barrel of any length?

If you can’t order a factory barrel maybe check gunbroker & the folks at shotgunworld.com .

If you find any barrel it leaves the option of cutting it down to the length you want, with or without a bead. I think even eBay has barrels, I may of bought an 870 barrel there years back.

Over the past few years, I've looked at Gunparts, Ebay, and Gunbroker. Not religiously, but hit or miss. Recently, I found out that Benelli makes barrels for Mossberg, so I was hoping someone makes CZ barrels and markets accessory barrels under their own name.

I've been calling CZ most. The only way they'll have an extra barrel is if they have to buy back a gun and then they part it out. But thanks for the thought.
