Anyone use a scope with a BDC reticle with success?
I acquired, via trade, a Meopta Meopro with a BDC reticle a while back. I am thinking about putting it on a Weatherby Vanguard Accuguard in .300WM, but I'm skeptical of the BDC accuracy. Does anyone use a scope with a BDC to great success, if so, what are the main things I need to know? Once sighted in, does determining the yardage for the hash marks simply depend on shooting at different distances with the ammo the rifle likes? Thanks in advance.

I have a Nikon with a BDC reticle on my Sig SHR 970.
It is my dedicated deer rifle.
Plug all the info into the app and it provides the proper distances based upon load and current weather conditions.
I have not missed one yet. Best take measures out to about 234 yards.

I also have a Nikon. It is mounted on a 6.8 SPC AR. This rifle is proven amazingly accurate at 1/3 MOA. I have used the BDC rectical effectively on 3" plates out to 300 yards.

As the previous poster said, I just used the software with my load & configuration data and it lined me up. I leave the scope set on the 200 yard zero and use the retical for the rest.
