http://www.snipercentral.com/sig-sauer-ssg-3000-2/ This article concludes if it has a German test target, it was 'made' in Germany.

Update: Thanks all... decided to pass on it. I read some had McMillian stocks. The ones from Germany sold at $2500 but dropped to $1499 or after US factory. Some came w a composite stock after the US factory. I decided to pass on this one today. Thanks for the board member’s ultrafast help!

Researching and talking to Sig, this was made in 2013 and per Sig was of German manufacture. Decided to buy it; I love its target! Now I need to trade something for great glass! https://photos.app.goo.gl/WJBhT9NMtSHnM2WXA

With bad intent |
All Sigs with Exeter stocks were assembled here. Im not aware of any SSG's that didnt have Germanmade barrels. The only difference between the German assembled and US assembled SSG's were the McMillan stocks. I had several SSG's, knowing what I know now, I would have kept them. I paid on average of 1200 for mine and youd have to spend twice that much to get a rifle that shoots as well. ________________________________

You wont regret the purchase. Put some quality glass on it, and if you do your part, it will make you look very good.

Here is my S&B 3-12 50 just received in a watch trade! Looks nice on it! Added pics to album w scope: https://photos.app.goo.gl/WJBhT9NMtSHnM2WXA What is this screw for on the rifle’s integral base? https://photos.app.goo.gl/nyynuLw5cQvf8PiB8 Update: The screw is apparently to attach the end of an option - the “mirage band” that ran to the original flash hider on top of the bbl. Original owner had a machinist remove the flash hider and install this Surefire muzzle brake. This message has been edited. Last edited by: tschiemer,
