Since Beretta no longer includes a case with their SA shotguns, I need one.

Something light and simple but decent protection. No need for airline use. Has to fit a semi in a broken down format with a 30” barrel with extended chokes.

So far I’m considering a basic Beretta off eBay up to a Negrini hybrid.

It just needs to conveniently get me to and from the range without parts bumping against each other.

Interesting, all of my Beretta A400s came with a hard case. They can also be purchased at Beretta here.

What SA Beretta do you have?

Same - Xcel Sporting Black. You only get cardboard now.

Beretta has a 25% off store wide deal, and they certainly are proud of their cases. Or something from Coles Guns or Unique Cases?

Negrini makes beautiful cases for shotguns, at many price points. Between my wife and I, we have three. They are well worth a look.

When put together, I keep most of my long guns, including my A400, in Allen cases. They have a good selection and are pretty sturdy.

But my A400 came in a sturdy hard plastic factory case. Shame on Beretta's bean counters for cheaping out.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

SKB makes a variety of shotgun cases that are very high quality. I have both a hard case and a hybrid case for my Beretta Silver Pigeon III.

I currently have 4 SKB cases, two of the soft side hard cases and two of the hard Skeet cases with barrel tube set storage in the lid. While they are fairly well made I had to return one of the Skeet cases for a mangled piano hinge and overall the quality is not at all comparable to my Negrini two barrel case for my 28/410 SP III.

Looking at the SKB site the 4416 case appears adaptable to a Semi Auto configuration but the price is distinctly on the high side. I also saw my Skeet case had increased a lot from the 239.00 I paid for mine in 2020.

Below is a link to LESS EXPENSIVE Negrini case suitable for a 30 inch semi auto. In addition it's much more compact than that 389 dollar SKB 4416 and also a lot nicer looking. IMO it's a no brainer, get the Negrini.

I've stopped counting.

Negrini has that type case in a more fitted version. It’s been out of stock but I think it is the one I want.
