Well the stock is a Minelli which is Italian walnut, so I guess it's consistent!

I do like the vented handguards and since this will be a casual range shooter, I'm not worried about mirage and all that. It's meant to be shot as a GI build with FMJ ammo.

I'll probably make a "Which M14 is right for you" video soon reviewing a plethora of M14 configurations to help prospective M14 owners which direction to go with.

Text being what it is, I feel we should clarify this as an "A Christmas Story" reference. The vented handguards are "frajily."

That is bad ass. I feel like I’m way out of my league with my limited knowledge of this platform. I feel tempted to buy my way in though!

Made it out today and shot a box of M80 ball, then shot a group of 5 with 175 grain FGMM.

Good enough to score 49 out of 50 on a MR-31 at 100 yards. (600 yard reduced target for use @ 100 yards)

Shot like a dream with no hiccups what so ever!

Tony,

VERY nice build and a great shooter. I should have my parts ready to ship in the next week or two and we can begin on mine!
