sigm4, which do you prefer (red or green) and why?
Good info on the MRO too.

While I say I like the green dot more, it has its downsides. The most glaring being battery life. Left on at I believe either setting 3 or 4 it has less than a year of battery life vs. the red’s 3+ years. It also washes out in very bright light, think of a bright glarey day.

Both of those reasons are why it’s not on my primary HD rifle (red is on it) and instead sits on a secondary rifle in the safe turned off when not in use.

That said during normal light conditions I tend to pic up the green dot slightly faster than the red.



Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view.

Complacency sucks…
