I just picked up the Mossberg 500 Mariner.

I ordered the promag safety.

I am thinking of the 623LMG-B Shotgun Forend WeaponLight.

Does anyone have one, do you like it?

I am also thinking of changing the stock from the pistol grip.

What are other people using?

It was the only shotgun I could find in stock anywhere around me.

I have a Maverick...the cheaper version with safety in the trigger assy.

I’d suggest adding an ammo card (Velcro to the side of the receiver) so you can have some more ammo With the gun. https://www.midwayusa.com/prod...016205673?pid=183142

I changed the stick to a smaller LOP(length of pull), some people go to the magpul version, I just got a hogue overmolded shorter stock.

I also added a mepro-lite big front sight.

Other than that I think a light is a good idea.

I have an extra ammo card with slugs, and one with OObuck, On my body armor velcroed to the front. I keep #4buck in the gun

I like the Mesa Tactical adapter to put an AR buffer tube and adjustable stock. Infinite options including a folding adapter.

I like my Surefire forend but they are spendy.

Edit: Since you're not keeping it as a pistol grip, email me if you're interested in parting with the storage tube.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

I will be keeping the storage tube, I will be using the pistol grip sometimes.

Mossberg sells the tubes for $65, but they are out of stock.
