mbinkyCMP Offering International Harvester vs. Springfield/H&R M1 Garand For Quicker Shipping
The CMP website with M1's for sale:
https://thecmp.org/sales-and-service/m1-garand/ CMP ordering information:
https://thecmp.org/cmp_sales/ordering-information/ If you are interested in Garands I would also urge you to join the Garand Collectors Association. Besides meeting the requirement for belonging to an affiliated club for rifle purchases they send out a quality journal quarterly with good stories in it.
https://thegca.org/membership/ Matter of fact the new issue just showed up in my mailbox

As far as rifles in the store I believe the stores are only by appointment with the covid stuff going on so I would call before heading out to one.

Thanks. I sent off an email to customer service, I'll give them a call in a few days if I don't hear back.

SOTARI bought 5 or 6 SA Garands in the early 2000s. All have been great. All were coated in cosmoline and it was great to clean them up. Of them, only 1 had an issue and it was simply getting a new bullet guide and swapping it out.
Taking care of my veterans was and is something I really enjoy doing. I recommend a few books
This one is what I've used
The M1 Garand Complete Assembly Guide, Build your own Garand This ones is good as well
The M1 Garand: Owner's Guide I would love to get an IHC and wouldn't think twice about doing so.
