Nice collection of rifle pictures so far. Kimberkid, we can always count on you to bring us awesome rifles to salivate over. I had a very similar Valmet to yours but had the solid plastic stock. One of many I regret letting go.

An AR10's higher recoil makes it more challenging to shoot than an AR15. High round count days aren't fun with AR10s. But they perform better at longer distances if the shooter is up to the task. Black Rain receivers, BCG, & rail. Bartlein 6 Creedmoor barrel.

Only accurate rifles are interesting....
Hornady factory 108 ELD. 12" steel at 525 yards.
2-3/8" vertical, 4" horizontal. Variable winds of 5-15 mph from my 3 o'clock.

Always been partial to this old girl. Even if she's a little piggy.

Pinnacle of the AK IMO.

This one too. Could just be the unobtanium factor.

Honorable mention

To keep things....under wraps.
(ba-dum-ching)

It's a suppressor cover. Suppressors get really hot, possibly many hundreds of degrees. Covers reduce mirage when shooting. After shooting, covers keep the suppressor from burning skin and melting fabrics.
