Think I have settled on either a Bergara Approach in a .308 or a Tikka t3x CTR in a .308. Looked at Fierce rifles but just don't know about their longevity if issues arise. Can use them to hunt or punch paper. Lots of round options from cheap to expensive,multiple grain choices for different targets.
