dewhorseIf you were to build a modern Diemaco LSW, what would it look like?
Hindsight is 20/20, back in the shotgun news hayday they had Diemaco LSW (Colt Canada) uppers for a song....memory is fading bit I think they were around $500. Not they are going for $3k...minimum
https://www.coltcanada.com/light-support-weapon.htmlAnyway I have been paying with a lower that I stuck an Echo Gen2 trigger in, toying with making something similar to the LSW.
Currently the upper has the following on it;
- Heavy 16" barrel, AAC FH
- PST 1x6
- forearm mounted bi-pod
- IR laser
Thinking of going with a 20" flutted heavy barrel for better cooling and a fixed 3-4 power prismatic scope or maybe an Elcan.
Wish they made something that the barrel could be swapped like the M249 the fightlight seems pretty close.
https://www.brownells.com/rifl...-auto-prod86794.aspxTrigger seems to keep up with a 200 round belt
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx0FFW5Uk8UHave a couple MP 60 round drums but have not had the pleasure of doing a full drum dump....only a couple mags to test the functionality of the trigger.
I must say, if you have the funds for the FosTech trigger I highly recommend one. Almost as fun as a full giggle switch.
Wish they made one for the semi M249....it would make the $10K price worth it

Belgian BlueTo me, the main difference is their CHF barrels. Their MRRs and C20s look SWEET! It’s a real pity we can’t get them here.

bubbatimeI love my Diemaco pencil 16" A2 AR upper, made in Canada, forged barrel, scored on accident for like $450.
