What do we like for fixed rear sights on ARs? I have Troy folders on a couple ($) and a carry handle on my 20". Curious what the standard fixed rear is.
Oh, for those interested, Primary Arms has fixed Troy rears for $39.99, but only in FDE.
Got a set of Troy fixed sights on mine. I like them.

I have an LMT on one of mine. I like it. Never had an issue.
IIRC I didn't pay anything near the cost listed currently on the LMT page. It was some time ago but I believe I purchased mine from another vendor for significantly less.

I have one in a GI cleaning kit pouch w/ a small, flat, bike wrench in my survival kit for my treks.
I also have a chopped down carry handle and it works fine.

Originally posted by RHINOWSO: I had an LMT, but honestly fixed rears annoy the hell out of me, and fixed fronts are not something I really like either.
I actually like the look of fixed fronts, but understand this is one of many reasons I am an oddball. I also don't run optics on most of my ARs. Astigmatism makes dot sights much less accurate for me.
I will give DD and LMT a look. Thanks for the suggestions.
Rock River Arms makes a nice fixed rear sight. It attaches by way of two flush fit hex bolts and not those big-ass knobs on most of the others (LMT etc).
The RRA sight also doesn’t have that decorative piece of metal running down the centerline of the sight allowing optic covers to fully “lay down”.
Two very nice features for a “working” rifle.
