Picked up a nice Winchester super Grade in 243
so the short action, ordered a picatinny base
and too short........ended up with a base for the WSM..........humm ?

Now I also purchased a Winchester 150 Aniversary model 70 in the long action of 270 winchester
and wondering "if" that will not be the same
as most base manufacturer's listings with
a distance of 4 3/8 c to center of furthest
holes for a one piece base or 7/8 c to c for
a two piece base set........any ideas
or suggestions.......don't want cheap one's
either something appropriate for the 270
as it's such a pretty firearms with nice
wood and engraving........

Any one else have this 150 aniversary modle
of the winchester 70 ?
