patwNot to sound critical or anything but the carbine is actually pretty hefty compared to a pistol and will dissipate the recoil on it's own. Have you fired the gun yet? I am not trying to dissuade you or anything but just curious of what you are trying to attain. The one in the video looks more like a muzzle brake than a compensator. Muzzle brakes work pretty well but will make the gun louder.
On a pistol, I am a firm believer of comps after firing a couple smaller guns, especially the P365 Macro Comp and a PMM comp on another small/compact gun I have.

venenoindyJust trying to minimize recoil as much, it's a direct blowback so would like to make it as smooth as possible. I don't anybody who has one.

92fstechThe recoil issue with that gun is not so much the cartridge itself but rather the huge heavy blowback bolt cycling. I'm not sure a compensator would make a whole lot of difference.

casThere's thousands of people shooting PCC's in competition with compensators on them.
Though it's more about muzzle jump than felt recoil. (Your search might be more successful in places dedicated to USPSA PCC division. The Ruger is not a "popular" choice, but it is used a lot, especially in ban states.)
