I tend to prefer the little clicky switch on surefire lights, but that's tough to accomplish in a 7" rail with a forward mounted sling attachment.

If I don't decide to move the sling attachment further rearward, does anyone have experience with surefire's somewhat new Mlok switch? I believe it's the CSM-07/09.

10 years to retirement! Just waiting!

I run the Scout lights on a carbine uppers with a switch. Switch zip tied down on top of the rail forces me to use a C clamp grip. I run the strap on the QD Swivel location or the rail slot closest to the receiver to keep the strap out of the way of my left hand. When I had it mounted forward it seemed it was always in the way.
