And I forgot how nice this Arisaka is….

If only I could find some 6.5 to feed it!

I too have a 6.5 Arisaka. The Japanese made nice rifles.
Its nice to see you still have the mum on it.

Nice Type 30 hook safety rifle. Beautiful shape and a pretty uncommon variant. Do you reload? Powder Valley has good PPU brass for the 6.5x50mm.

Graf & Sons has 6.5x50 ammo in stock. Not cheap, but available.

Nope. And in that good of shape really unheard of. Beautiful rifle. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age….

Very nice Japanese rifle, most are pretty beat. Intact mum is a bonus for sure.

Regarding ammo, reloading is the cost effective long term solution

From time to time finding some old Norma ammo is possible. Make sure to check in every dusty old gun shop you come across. I have found partial boxes in gun shop and show junk boxes cheap

Probably the nicest type 30 I've ever seen, or perhaps you're just that good of a photographer. Either way thanks for sharing.
