You're going to feel a little pressure... |
Hey all- My Google-fu is failing me: What handguards will work with a PSA PA-10 midlength upper? PSA just got me for a $149 lower and a $299 upper (standard delta ring, not a free float rail). My problem is that the lower is FDE and the upper is black. Changing handguards will be cheapest. How do I decide what to order? Thanks, Bruce "The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams “It is just as difficult and dangerous to try to free a people that wants to remain servile as it is to try to enslave a people that wants to remain free." -Niccolo Machiavelli The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. After more searching, I still can't find anything that says they're different from the 5.56 handguards so I will just take a shot and order some. We'll see if they fit. I built a .308 AR on an Aero M5 receiver set and used a Midwest Industries MLOK rail, specifically made for a .308 AR. Pick which style, Armalite or DPMS, and go. I’ll find the link EDIT: MI Rails EDIT 2: I may have misunderstood your request. I’m unsure if you’re asking if regular AR15 rails would fit PSAs barrel nut.

Are you talking regular, plain old school, non floating plastic 2 piece handguards like in pic ? On Armalite AR10 mid length the AR15 hand guard is the same thing. Most likely the PSA is the same way, but the way the AR10 world is so mixed up I can't swear to it. On my AR10 I installed a set of Magpul hand guards meant for the AR15. The only problem was the barrel chamber on the 10 is much larger and required a small trim of the Magpul heat shield in that area. Pic shows the small trimed piece taken from each side of the shield. _____________________
