Replacing a Magpul MOE rattle trap.
Like the looks of that style and both of these are supposed to lock up nice and not rattle.

One better than than the other or just buy which is cheapest?

The Hogue and the MOE stock you currently have are very similar other than the rubber padding on the Hogue while the Magpul CTR has that secondary lever that clamps down on the buffer tube once it's in position. That additional locking lever really takes out any wobble once it's clamped down. I have a few of them, they're very solid.

I have a CTR on one of my rifles and it's solid as a rock. It also eliminated the facial hair yanking that the original (G.I. M4 type) stock was bad about. I've never tried the Hogue so I can't offer anything helpful there.

I’ve got a lot of the CTRs on my guns, but recently I’ve gone to the DT carbine stock for newer guns.

To me, the only rubber that should be on the AR is the butt pad.

Had not seen the DT stock. That looks like it will fit the bill as well.

ERGO grips are on the list for me, one of the most comfortable grips on an AR.

I know this wasn’t the question, but after I found the B5 Bravo, I’ve been done with Magpul stocks.

For some reason I don't really like the looks of those. I guess I like th open area on the CTR, Hogue, and now the DT

That's fair. I didn't either until I got to try one out. They shoulder nicer for me, and as a bonus they'll stand a rifle upright in the safe or against the wall or such without the funky cant that the Magpul butt pad profiles impart.

The DT is effectively the CTR 2.0.

Same. The B5 Bravo's SOPMOD-style cheekweld is glorious, while being noticeably lighter (and less expensive) than any of Magpul's similar SOPMOD-style stocks. Plus the Bravo comes in a whole bunch of different colors (and even camo patterns) to match your purse and shoes. I have Bravos on a bunch of rifles, including these:

I'm also a fan of the BCM Mod 0 SOPMOD. Different style, same good cheekweld. Slightly lighter than even the B5, but only comes in Black or FDE, and a bit of a pain to install/remove.

X3. Swapped out all CTR stocks for B5s. Other SP-ish rifles have a UBR. Thinking about putting a UBR on the Banshee since the Rugged 45 is so long. Makes it heavy on the barrel.
