What do I have?

Has anyone seen these markings? Did Colt make a commemorative? This is a military unit that served in Afghanistan? Colt factory camo?

I am in Arkansas and read the 1039th is from here and reference to Razorbacks is of course likely the Arkansas Razorbacks.

I have never seen this rendition.

Note it is a LE SN and appears to be a 6940 as I remember them but it has been a few years.

It’s a tribute rifle for a particular unit after a deployment. The camo and additional markings were not done by Colt.

Lots of units did deployment commemorative guns during the GWOT. I believe colt did coordinate with units to supply guns with markings - I have seen a fair number of 1911 colts with unit marking
