I don't know about what an SP sling is, but that gas block looks like my DPMS Oracle and I used this Champion AR-15 Bi-Pod Adaptor . It even comes with the sling adapter. I used a bit of plumbing-strap to shim out inside of the handguard, and it fits and works great.
