Ahem: Thanks for the comments about the tuner. That's what I'm interested in. Smile

Is the stock opened up for a magazine well?

from what I remember from reading an article in Precision Shooting, or its sister magazine The Accurate Rifle,

a tuner helps with the barrel, by moving the weight just a bit, the harmonics (as in barrel whip) become more consistent,

as in the muzzle is at point x of the oscillation (barrel whip) each time or at least more consistently,

there was a guy on the one forum, maybe rimfire central, that posted up a lot of articles, wanna say he was Cal Fred or something similar, that went into detail on how they work, what to used, and how to adjust,

interesting stuff

I believe it is. There's a cover on the bottom of the stock and of course the aluminum cartridge feed on the top side.

I got a chance on Thursday to shoot the Anschutz with the tuner. I started out shooting Eley Tenex but ran out before I could finish the tune so I know about what works but still need to fine tune some. I switched to Lapua Center X and shot a 10 shot 50 yd. group that measured 1/2" OD with a less than ideal scope. So it shows promise. I also adjusted the trigger pull down to 16 ounces. That is as low as this particular trigger will go without having cocking trouble.
