Picked one up here from a member about 5 years ago or so. Been rock solid until about a week ago. Went to check zero and after the first shot the screen went black. (It’s on an sig 716) thought the batteries were dead so swapped them out and nothing. Decided to contact FLIR and this was their response:

Hello

Following our company's 2020 decision to end the commercial sale of thermal weapon sights and image-intensified products, Teledyne FLIR honored warranty claims for qualified products for 36 months—well beyond the standard 2-year warranty period.

As of January 15, 2023, all remaining repair parts and accessory inventory have been exhausted; support and service for legacy OTS thermal weapons sights and image-intensified products are no longer available.

If you are the original owner and believe you have a valid warranty claim for a product purchased from an authorized FLIR dealer* after January 2021, please respond to this communication with proof of purchase, and your case will be reviewed.

*Note: Optics Planet procured excess and obsolete FLIR-Armasight branded thermal weapon sight and image intensified product inventory from FLIR in December 2020.
If you purchased a FLIR-Armasight branded product from Optics Planet within the past 36 months, you may seek service and support from Optics Planet.

So question for the brain trust. Is it a boat anchor now or do any of you know someone that can work on a FLIR? I love the thermo scope. It has served me well and I would like to get it fixed. Any suggestions?
