I looked around and couldn't find anything that satisfied me, so I broke down and grabbed the Surefire X400 with green laser about a year or so ago. I found it on a holiday sale for about $480. Pricey but I've been very happy with it. I've got it on my rattler and it's held up as expected, the laser is quite bright and really reaches out there better than I thought it would. Easy to zero to the rifle and the switch lets you pick light, laser, or both.

I figured the cost was worth it, if you're going to have a quality light anyway which was more important and then add a second laser device, I just went with one and done.

I put a NC Star on my brothers AR pistol. It’s just on a short rail. Works in daylight. He’s got it sighted at 25 yds. He’s disabled and can’t hold it up to his eye level.

I think it was $30. It has a simple sliding on/off switch that he can use (he can’t use a pressure switch)

I was thinking Streamlight. But I find their website lacking and confusing.

Steiner TOR Fusion

Reviews are mixed but for $100 I've been happy with mine.

I have the Crimson Trace Rail Master Pro on the Mossberg shotgun. Laser/light combination and it works well.
Green laser and a 1000 lumen white light. A little over $200 when I bought it.
Hope this helps.

I have a Streamlight TRL-8G that's on a pistol.
I tried it with an offset mount on my 9mm AR.

I never warmed up to the laser on the AR or pistol and don't use it now.
It's hard to see for me outside and it's a battery eater.
Should have just gotten a TRL-7 and saved a few bucks.

I've got the TLR-1's on about 4 handguns, and LOVE the lil buggers! Durable, bright, easy to use. I had the laser/light combo that functioned flawlessly.
