I'd like to start looking for a good squeeze bag. Any suggestions, or should I just fill a winter sock with rice or corn-cob media and go with it?

I took the Atlas plunge and it should be here in a few days. I tried the Accuracy-shot monopod, but I think it actually hurt accuracy. It bounced quite a bit so I'm thinking the squeeze bag is the way to go.

I see Badger Ordnance has one in MARPAT, which I like.

Tony.

For typical prone and bench shooting this Red Tac is the best that I have found. Just the right size and amount of fill.

If you are doing more PRS/improvised shooting positions the Str8 laced bag is very good, but I find it a bit too large compared to the Red Tac for most of the shooting I do.

I've looked a few of the recommended bags from here recently. Ended up getting a cole-tac. It's worked great for my needs but I can already see myself needing a bigger one of some sort down the road.

I picked up a bag as a package off of a prize table similar to the size of the Str8 Laced linked above. Have a couple bags just like it in size I've been using for several years, I personally prefer this size of bag, fill. Been bringing that bag to the range with me, with the idea of giving it away... Haven't run into that person. Yours if you want it, no charge. My e-mail is in my profile.

Thanks!

I'll shoot off an e-mail in a few.
