Yeah, I could contact the manufacturer, but figured I'd get a quicker answer here.

The battery cover/switch broke off of one of my TLR-1 WMLs. Does anyone know if Streamlight guarantees these things, or am I relegated to just buying a new one?

(Perhaps this isn't the right place to post this, but it seemed appropriate)

Here is the link for service/ repair.

https://eweb.streamlight.com/S...?tabid=10&tabindex=0

They have an incredible warranty. They will fix anything no questions.

I’ve sent in on average two lights per year from our many rounds fired each year.

That won’t repair the switch they will replace the switch. It will only cost you shipping to them.

They will email you a label to put on the return box and a note inside what the problem is.

I just called them up and they sent me a new one in the mail. Those battery doors break all the time.

In my experience, Streamlight's customer service rivals Surefire, which is pretty damn good.

I would like to hear what caliber you were using the light on.

We broke a lot with the .40 S&W.

9mm seems to be doing a lot better on lights.

I have it mounted on an Colt M4. I rarely shoot it and just picked it up the other day and noticed that it was broken off.

I had a cover break and streamlight took care of it no questions asked. If you have a Batteries Plus nearby I believe they are all authorized centers to drop off repairs.

Anytime anything streamlight stops working, we just call and they replace it.

It's rare but it does happen and they're quick.

we have a 3 year old strion that will not turn off. they just said send it in. they sent back a new one with a new battery.
