Gone....Just like that!

From the linked product page on the Big Tex Ordnance website:

"This is our final shipment. Once these are gone, they won’t be back."

Last week Brownells had an "early bird black Friday deal," their own 30 rd mags were $8.99. They're now back to $14.99, though desert tan is $12.99.

https://www.brownells.com/maga...56mm-prod127641.aspx

There should/might be another black Friday deal around Thanksgiving.

I used to have a few Brownells 30rd AR mags. I didn't like them because the followers were reversed left-to-right. I.e., with a Brownells mag and a normal GI 30, fully loaded side by side, it looks like the Brownells is down a round.

Here are some Okay mags on sale at Top Gun, ten for $100. However, the follower appears to be a totally different design than the GI mags in the OP.

Well. I just saw our nitwit state attorney general wants to push for restrictions on "high capacity magazines" this next legislate session. Took me less than five minutes from reading that to "Congratulations! Your order has been successfully placed." on Top Gun's website. Not as a panic buy, mind you. I've got a lot of AR mags. Not like you can have too many, but I'm surely not light on them. No, this was purely a big fat middle finger to Washington state. Thanks for the link and the opportunity to support a 2A business in a free state.

Now I just need to find a fantastic deal on Glock 17 factory mags to stock up on and I'll be a happy man.

Sounds like a great deal. Not sure about which Okay mag is best: E2 vs older standard Surefeed like these.

But more to the point it'd be nice to find a great deal on ammo to fill these with. 64gr JSP would be nice. Big Grin

You know, I found myself thinking along those lines as well. I have an ammo can packed with loaded mags, and plenty of loaded mags stashed in the garage near the safe, the bedroom, and here and there. It used to be the case that every mag I had was loaded, but now I've got some that go empty. They look sad that way. Big Grin

This isn't a "great" deal Bob, but $1.30/rd is good for Gold Dots. Sorry, no free shipping.

https://palmettostatearmory.co...ion-20rds-24448.html

There are cheaper deals for brand name 64gr (lowest is $1.05), but most are from dealers I've never heard of:
