A little Henry .357 fun
Took one of my Henry’s out to dial in the scope.

It took about 10 shots for the height and then a few more for the windage.

Total 50 rounds.

You can see me walking it down on a lower center bull.

Nice! One of these days I want to add a Henry lever action to my collection. I’m thinking I want one in .327, but the .357/.38 like yours would probably be more practical.

I have a compact, lightweight Winchester lever in 357 mag. Should it ever be needed seems it would fill the role of ‘home defense’ just fine.

I have one of those though without the side loading gate. Absolutely my favorite rifle for just about anything.
I went with a Skinner peep sight, couldn’t bring myself to scope a lever gun. Shoots almost as good as yours, but that probably because I can’t see as well as I used to.
Enjoy!!

I found this interesting discussion with bullet drop charts included.
