Has anyone tried out the new PSA/H&R retro line yet? Apparently these are built by the company formerly known as Nodak Spud after the PSA acquisition. They are using the H&R roll mark on retro rifles. Here is an example of a "604" type 20", but they also make some cool looking carbines as well. 604 Air Force retro rifle

Timely post. I was going to put something up about H&R. Restarted the DOE 9mm sub gun project recently after Arc posted pictures of his. Had most of the parts except a dedicated 9mm AR lower. Sure that at some point I will acquire a Colt lower, but that’s where I was stuck. Ordered 2 H&R 9mm lowers from PSA. One complete (black) and the other just a stripped lower (gray). They are very nice, high quality lowers. First off, they are roll-marked. Not the crap laser engraving that Colt does these days. Finish is exceptional. The stock and small parts fit/function well. If you knew of NODAK before they joined PSA, you know. Detail and quality were their hallmarks. Going to order the very rifle you linked to. Based on the quality of the lowers, definitely willing to try a complete rifle. Will post pictures later this afternoon.

No, H&R is not. They just do a convincing job of it with laser engraving. I just got a black "Blem" Commando in yesterday. Yeah, this was so minor, I had to look for it. Anybody who's bought a new Colt knows this is a feature for them lol
