Anyone have an AR10 upper vice block?
I could use one to install a brake for the suppressor I got. Real Avid is $110 and I'm gonna use it once. I'll pay shipping both ways.

My LGS has a AR10 reaction rod. They charge a very minimal fee for work like what you're needing (less than the shipping you're considering paying). You may ask if your LGS or gunsmith can assist.

A clam shell type is a good way to munge the barrel pin doing muzzle devices.

I splurged on a set of blocks from a 2x4 with a hole bored against the grain.
Wrapped the barrel with some fabric type electrical tape and cinched it down in the vice.
Worked to remove the Ruger device that some gorilla cranked on there.

A reaction rod IMO would make this a breeze, literally requires no setup and gives you a solid hold that won't slip, and concentrates the torque along the axis of the barrel and nothing else. Any AR owner should keep one in their tool drawer.
