Just found this beautiful Rossi copy of the old Winchester 62 pump .22. This one is in the very hard to find .22 Mag and seems to be in perfect condition. It feeds .22 Mag like silk and has a really light smooth trigger. Field stripped it and the insides look just as good as the exterior. The bore looked a little rough at first but it was just dust. After cleaning it looks perfect. Will try to get to the range as soon as I can and will report back. Trooper Joe

Very nice little shooter. I have fond memories of my father and I shooting some .22 pump guns at a range years ago. I have to say, while they may not be a "top tier" brand, I am quite happy with my Rossi 92 .357 lever gun. Looking forward to your shooting review.

Great find! I love those old Gallery guns and always keep my eyes open for one. A few weeks ago I stopped into a local gun shop that focuses on AR’s and tactical stuff. I saw what looked like a pump .22 in the used gun corner behind the counter. I asked to see it, and it turned out to be a Winchester 61 in .22 WinMag, for $350. Bought it and cleaned it up and it’s in gorgeous like new condition. Mfg date 1958/1959. So it pays to keep your eyes open!

Very nice! I almost shot my foot with a Model 62 that my grandfather tossed me to clean as a kid... taught me not to hold a trigger when working the pump though! I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Great gun! I had a .22LR model back in the 90's that was accurate, reliable, and a hoot to shoot. One of those guns I probably should have kept.
