New to me too. It’s a ‘Universal’ M1 Carbine, 69,xxx SN. Yes, I read the reviews & know this is a commercial gun with mixed reviews, not authentic.

My price point was 50%+ below any reasonable ‘authentic’ gun. The takedown screws were totally unbuggered, little to no ‘wear marks’ from use. It came with ammo that was decades old, another sign of lite use.

I’ve done two test shoots, so far all has worked as advertised. I don’t plan to replace an AR, just looking for a light plinker.

Anyway, kinda a fun gun. I see eBay sells a non-firing replica for $200+, May as well have one that shoots.

Interesting how NJ has a cow about the gun, heavily banned.
