Had I have known where prices were going on these things, I would have bought a bunch more of them years ago.

Right? Same with Garands from the CMP and SKS rifles from gun shows back when they were $99 unfired in lots of cosmoline.

I remember when Vance's outdoors was selling entire crates of Mosin Nagants. It was like 8 or 12 Nagants in the original cosmoline in the original shipping crate for something obnoxious, like $289.99 or something like that, and they wound up throwing in a couple spam cans of x54R for the price.
I kinda wanted to buy just the crate to use as a coffee table but I was in college and decided against it.
