Vickers is a somewhat common English surname, and I'd imagine if Larry Vickers is somehow related to Vicker's (the company that made the machine guns)being an internet guntuber he certainly wouldn't have kept that fact from the world.

No, he's not directly related to Edward Vickers, who founded Vickers Limited in the early/mid-1800s.

Interestingly, my FFL/ SOT is a descendant of Benjamin Hotchkiss, the firearms and ordnance engineer.

My sister-in-law's maiden name was Vickers, but as sure as hell is nothing to do with either Larry Vickers or the company that later joined up with Armstrong to become one of the largest engineers and ship-builders in the world.
