Tuckerrnr1 sent me this upper and I am very grateful. Gave me a fun little project.

I was going to build a standard C7 rifle, but the upper had been cut for M4 feed ramps, so my vintage Colt barrel would not work, so I ordered the least expensive M4 extension classic upper PSA has to offer. It was on 4th of July sale. I polished out the ramps to fit exact to the barrel extension to make it reliable. Torqued it to 65 lbs to line up the nut and installed a used set of military skinny handguards and dropped it on an H&R lower.

So Dissipator it is!

What I have failed to mention is this will be gifted to the next Vietnamese coworker that achieves his US citizenship. The FIRST thing they do is get an AR15.

Instead of Rooftop Koreans, Northern Georgia is going to have Treetop Vietnamese.

His very own troop of Montagnard irregulars.

I have a military surplus store up the street from me with stupid cheap deals on vintage parts.

The modern oval handguards are just vulgar.

Fixed carry handle, fixed rifle stock dissipator is such a hot look. Everyone should have one in their arms room.

Nice! I have always thought the dissipator looked cool as all get out and I’m a fan of the A1 upper. Needs more teardrop!

The C7 got a round assist. I DO have a spare teardrop, but it's not proper for the deflector upper.
