I picked one up for a song while looking for a .410 snakcharmer. It actually seems like a quality piece the more I look at it. Am I missing something or are these things a great deal?

I don't know anything about the Hatsan Escort line, but the Charles Daly Turkish made semi-auto 20 ga I gave my sister puked its guts out after a very low amount of use, and couldn't be repaired for some reason. I think it was a copy of one of the Italian semiauto shotguns. I pretty much gave up on Turkish made semiautos after that. Hope your gun works out better.

Its a pump gun for snakes. I’m not really gonna be blasting away with it. It just feels slick and nicely made for the price.
