Nickelsig229magpul ms4 replacement?
I have 3 rifles running the ms4 quick disconnect double/single-point sling and I like all but one thing about it. The plastic slide part of the sling is causing me issues the more I train with it. Sometimes when I grab it to get slack or tighten up I'll miss it or not get the right grip on it which messes me up on transitioning. Other times I have to hold it at an off angle in order for it to slide. This was never a problem until I started taking carbine courses and having to do more with them than just look pretty in the safe.
Can more experienced people then myself give me some alternatives? It must be a quick disconnect single/double and have that same slide tightening effect but one better implemented if possible.
thanks for any help.

parabellum Blue Force GearIf they don't show it, they can make it for you custom. All my rifles have BFG slings and they are better quality than the Magpul slings. The Magpul slings are fine, but BFG is just better.
Their
RED Swivel is well-made.
Oh, and there's this nifty gadget, too:
Burnsed Socket (If I understand correctly what you're looking for)

Thanks Para. I'm going down the rabit hole now. Looks like a lot of options on their site.

old rugged crossI like simple. Personally the BFG sling did not work well for me. My recollection was it was heavy, at least felt that way. Also felt somewhat clumsy.
I am not set on anything at this point. Have not really looked hard or bought something that I felt like was the perfect one.
Have a blackhawk single point bungie type sling that works. I know that knock against sp slings.
I will find a good two point inexpensive simple one at some point.

KSGMI have found that modification is quite handy, when it comes to slings. I have taken to eliminating all the friction clasps and hardware, in favor of sewing ends where I want them, and using 550 cord to attach to the gun. No rattle noise and no money spent on various sling end bits. In your case though, some of the hardware is required, due to the desire to switch from two points to one point. You may consider the likelihood that a slider that easier to slide may slide when you don't want it to. My sling has an older, metal BFG slider piece, riding on their older, slimmer webbing; it sometimes lets slack out when I'd rather it stay put.
If you have a sewing machine, you may consider fiddling with some ideas of your own.
