When new, trigger pull was 3 lbs. I installed an e-bay purchased 18 oz spring. it worked fine.
I then installed an 8 oz spring. Trigger pull remained at 18 oz. Any thoughts ?

IIRC there is an adjustment for trigger pull weight also. I might be mistaken as I haven’t touched the trigger adjustments on any of my three 457’s.

Yes there are 3 adjustments on the 457 trigger and there is a specific order of adjustment.
