My son recently bought a new x95. His first center fire rifle, although he has shot plenty of mine in the past. He has been putting rounds through it and has bought a sling and extra mags.

I’m thinking for Christmas I will help him decorate his rifle! Are there any “must have” accessories that you’d recommend just because it’s a Tavor? I really have no experience with them at all. He brought up Geissele triggers were recommended, and have one of those on the way. I’m going to get a Streamlight protac light, unless you can talk me out of it. Would it benefit from a different or optional light mount? Besides an optic, any other suggestions?

Sex offenders can not be rehabilitated. It's in their wiring. They should not be released back into the general public. On the other hand they should not be warehoused either. I think they should be executed.....Spectre

The lightning bow trigger shoe is pretty nice, don’t feel the need for the hammer pack after getting that, it’s not going to make as much difference as the hammer pack will, but it’s the most bang for your buck.
I have that same light and love it, I also have the bcm stubby vertical grip and love it.
I’d get a good optic and call it a day

Does it pic rail/mloc on the sides of the rifle? Do you need prefer a 45 offset?

I put in the Geissele trigger pack and the bow trigger.

It needs an optic but I just can't decide.

An optic is going to be my next upgrade.

I own an X95 in .300 BLK. I installed a conventional grip, the Geissele trigger pack and trigger bow, a BCM vertical fore-grip, and a replacement top rail to raise the height of the sights. These are really good improvements, as is the installation of the BLK LBL fore-end/bipod. I also set it up for my Dead Air Sandman "K" suppressor. My sight is a green dot Trijicon MRO.

I got one in 5.56 when they first came out. Stuck the lightning bow and trigger pack in and a covered handguard.

It’s so gassy when suppressed. I tried the manticore cover and it wasn’t very helpful

I have the 3 Panther TG-C Tavor Grip Gen 4. It is a blend of the open grip and a pistol grip. Here is the web site.

https://3pantherproducts.com/ols/products/tg-c

If the length of pull is too short, a Manticore Arms Curved Buttpad makes sense.

If you are thinking about a suppressor, look at the Manticore Arms Tavor Gasketed Port Cover. I've had a better experience with it than Chowser, although I have the most experience with it on a x95 in 300 Blackout.

The Geissele lightning bow and trigger pack made a real improvement for me.

I have a MI (I think) gasketed ejection port cover on mine, but it doesn’t really do much. I don’t think any of the port covers really help much since they say a lot of the gas comes out at the top where the rear of the rail is, as well as out of the open ejection port. I just gave up running a normal baffled suppressor and got an OSS (now Huxwrk) can.

Also have the Manticore Arms Optimus forend and Switchback Charging Handle on mine.

The side panels come off very easily and there’s pic rails underneath, I don’t see a need for a 45 degree offset. It’s a really fun rifle to shoot, and I can run mine faster than I can my AR. You’ll love it
