Feature-wise, this is almost exactly my Bren 2 if I put a Haga Gen 3 lower on it. If their QC holds, I see this doing really well for PSA. Those are welcome changes.

Just shows that it’s not a good idea to jump on version 1.0 of anything PSA makes. Wait for the 2.0 improvements.

Since they worked the bugs out of the Gen 1 JAKL, it's been fine. Nothing wrong with it as it is right now. I like the look of the Gen 2, but who is to say it won't have any bugs? It's still a concept gun.

That's the rub. The jakl 2.0 "fixes" the critiques of the 1.0, while likely having new issues. Iterative corrections almost always make for a better product. This isn't iterative. This is essentially a new gun with new gun problems.

The school of hard knocks taught me the same applies to SIG Sauer, especially with long guns.

The updates to the JAKL are definitely welcome.

Not in the market myself but this looks interesting.

I have been looking at the PSA Dagger. I know their ARs are well thought of.

TBH, I like the 1.0 better. Dropping AR lower compatibility is a big no-go for me.

I have a BRN-180 upper and love it, and had been tempted by a JAKL upper. Maybe snag a 1.0 when they fire-sale them for $450 a pop?
