I have an early paratrooper carbine that needs the proper rear L shaped rear sight. The one shown on Numrich Arms wep page is not the proper type. Can anyone suggest a source or does someone the are willing to part with.

I would go to the the CMP forum and ask there. Just be aware, those guys are kinda crusty...

this , or one of the more carbine centered forums,

re the crusty, sometimes, yes, but remember a true carbine collect takes OCD to the highest level,

One thing to note, if your Carbine is early and original other than the missing rear sight, none of the major parts houses will have an original GI sight, they will all be reproduction. Originals are out there, but they are tough to find and expensive when found.

Are you looking for original GI or a reproduction?

Reproduction would be fine. Can you recommend a source?

I HIGHLY recommend anyone thinking of ordering from Riverbank do their homework. They have quite the reputation.
