What can you recommend for for 2K or less for a accurate AR10 which won't break my bank

I'd probably build my own or look for a used LMT MWS, OBR, or DD.

If I just wanted a range toy to blast out to a couple hundred yards I'd just get a S&W MP-10, simply for the S&W warranty.

PWS makes a nice .308 AR.

I would keep saving, buy a lightly used LMT MWS.

As it's been said, I'd look used for a DD, LMT, OBR or the PredatAR.

If dead set on new, then I'd look at PWS or SOLGW (a little over 2k on sale, but shop hard and should come close).

Biggest question, intended use, distance, and accuracy you want? More along the lines of bench gun or battle rifle?

Another option, is roll your own. For 2k, you could end up with a nicer ar10 doing it yourself. Go basic on the upper and lower, splurge on the trigger, forend, and barrel.

I'd also say a POF Revolution or M&P 10. Good price, reliable and accurate.

I had the Ruger 7.62, and liked it just fine. I found a deal in a 716, and picked it up as well. I think I like the Sig better, and sold the Ruger to my son in law. The Sig is a little heavy, but other than that no complaints at all.

I've been very happy with my Armalite Tac 16, comes with BUIS, 2 stage trigger, full length rail, ambi safety, raptor charging handle, and an adjustable gas block. pretty good bang for the buck IMO.

I have read good reviews here from people who bought the PSA PA10. When they have a sale, you could easily buy two and have money left over.

Plus one on that as my PSA PA10 works as it should and I got mine for $799.
