I sent in the paperwork for a CMP Field Grade. I'm thinking this is one of the Philippine returns. This will be a long 6-8 weeks.

HerkdriverYou know it doesn't stop with one, right? My (CMP) gateway drug was a single M1 Carbine. Then another. Then a 3rd. Decided I really needed a Garand. First was a correct grade Springfield. Then a field grade H&R. Then I saw a 6 digit Springfield at the store... I also have three 1917's. I guess I just have a thing for triplets.
Seriously, enjoy your Garand. And save your money...
