How is that consistent with the statement that one uses near vision to look at the reticle? Eye focus looking into an afocal optic is the same as when looking at something very far away without an optic. If you used near vision to look at the reticle, when the target was in focus through the optic, the reticle would be an indistinct smear. | |||
