9mm linear compensator for 13.5x1 LH?? Login/Join

I'm finishing my MPX SBR project now, save for a silencer, which won't be coming anytime soon.

I am planning to add the MWI handguards to replace the factory Keymod unit. Ideally I'd like to add the MWI 10.5" handguard, since it gives more real estate and will cover the (eventual) suppressor.

Until I get the suppressor, though, I need some muzzle device that won't singe my fingers off, since the 8" barrel will be fully under the handguards.

So I need a linear comp, but the stupid metric threads are killing most of the options out there for a 9mm linear comp.

Does anyone know of a mfg who offers a 9mm linear comp in 13.5x1 LH?

Since this is a temporary fix until the day I can actually use the silencer, I don't want to spend much money on it.

Suggestions?

Or, alternately, is there such a thing as an adapter from 13.5x1 LH to something useful, like 1/2x28 or even 1/2x36?

I have been looking for the same thing for my MPX. Manticore Arms has a Linear Compensator in 1/2x28. Here is the link to their page:

https://manticorearms.com/muzzle-devices?thread=14

I have not ordered one yet, so I can't provide any feedback on it. I also have no affiliation with Manticore.

One thing I like from their description, (if I understood it correctly) is that the comp is threaded so you can add other muzzle devices to the end of it. So put the linear comp on, then add a muzzle brake to the end of that.

Hope that helps. If you do end up getting it, I would love to hear how it works for you.

I use a KVP on my AR9 that works well.
They have them for the MPX too.

Ah, thanks! I was looking at the KP page several times today and somehow managed to miss that. Roll Eyes

You can also do it with a thread adapter to get to 1/2-28 or something more common. I go 13.5 to HK 3 lug to the extending device so I can share the extension with my HK.
