I’ve got 2 Remington 700 VSSF’s, one in 223 & one in 308 and been thinking about doing the Savage quick change barrel conversion on at least one of them for a couple years. I’m thinking a new barrel for the 223 as it’s barrel is 1/12 which is pretty much useless to me as I shoot 55 to 62 grain bullets so I need a 1/7 or 1/8 and a second barrel in 6.5 Grendel. Then maybe the 308 & second barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor … although I’ve got AR10’s, a 308 & 6.5Creedmoor and for bolt gun my 300SSG in 308 & a second barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Neither would be out of need, they would just be projects … but if it’s a waste of time/money I won’t bother.
