Who would have thought a SIG AMT cloth sling would cost more than $500? I figured it was worth $100 max. But they're nuts out there!

Well, considering you can give north of $100 for a current, mass production "tactical" sling, I am not at all surprised a genuine sling for a high dollar collector's rifle brings hundreds.

Even with that said, I agree that what that auction's bringing is wild. My above logic might dictate $300 tops.

The GB auction just closed and the sling sold for $665.

That's great news because I have one!!! Came with my AMT from 1984....

I always thought that the AMT used the regular leather STG57 sling, and one day was going to figure out what web sling was on my AMT. Go figure it’s the original. If you really want sticker shock, look at what DSA is asking for this PE57.
