I pride myself on planning and preparation in most of my endeavors:

It wasn't there when this thread was first posted, and for the life of me, I couldn't make heads or tails of what exactly the OP was talking about. Thought maybe this thread was just another example of poor planning and preparation. Big Grin

Yeah. I had trouble getting the link working for the pic. Smile

Jelly, I too like a V12. Just in the Allison and Rolls Royce sort of way.

Dang, 12 bolt rings seem like overkill for that 1-4. Mounted on a 500 Jefferies?

Just a PEPR Mount on a .450B upper. Taking it tomorrow to zero it. Planning and preparing to, anyway. Smile

Nice!

For what it's worth, I did the exact same thing several months ago with Warne rings, which are somewhat tricky to assemble and torque down. What appeared to be success quickly turned into "Aww, damn it!".

I had a friend who was left handed and right eye dominant that mounted a scope like that on a Marlin 336 and was trying to sight it in. He couldn't hit the ground with it.

I have a friend who "helped" another with his new bolt 20 gauge slug gun. After boxes and boxes of slugs and bottoming out the scope adjustments he finally figured it out.

They did need to take a trip to Gander for more slugs.

Expensive "help" lol.

Good thing you spent a lot of time leveling it...
