Need Complete AR Uppers (including BCG and CH) recommendations please - Budget is about $500 - 16” Barrel In 300 Blackout Login/Join

Wanted to ask for brand name recommendations (or actual complete upper links) please for what my thread title describes. I do not want to build one - I am one that prefers to purchase a complete AR Upper that has quality and known reliability behind its design. My goal is to purchase a complete AR upper that has a 16” barrel, BCG, and charging handle for as close to $500.00 as possible. I have two shorter AR upper receivers in 300 B/O but the company that built those is no longer in business (Hardened Arms). This upper will not see a ton of use (200-400 rounds a year I am guessing) but I want a complete upper that I know is dependable and can hold about one MOA at 100 yards (would be used for plinking of super sonic and sub sonic rounds with a suppressor for hog hunting).

Can I ask for brand recommendations based on this criteria please. Thanks in advance for any help. Mark

I have never been disappointed with PSA.

Look up fox trot mike's. Good quality. Brownell's and Primary arms and other major online retailers have them.

Aero Precision regularly offers deals where you get a BCG and/or charging handle with purchase of a complete upper.

put this in your wishlist and sign up for the mailer.

Thanks guys - I will look at all of these.

Doctor - The link you provided is EXACTY what I want and I would buy that exact unit if the BCG and CH was included. I will get signed up for future sales.

If I cannot wait I will be going with one of the other options provided in this thread.

Thanks again to everyone. Mark

Newbie question - great selection. Even though we are looking at a 300 blackout upper, the choices for the BCG are all labeled 556. Is it ok to use a 556 BCG???

That's a FAQ. Yes - 5.56mm, .223, & 300 AAC/BLK all use the same BCG. They fit the same mags too.
