The k have the castle sights, the regular have the aperture. You can change them, I have come to like the castle, it's fast, and probably why they put them on the k.

Haven't seen a combo sight.

I wonder if you could modify an all aperture model.

I believe the Diopter Drum Sight is the correct one to use. I may be wrong. At least that's what comes on my original factory HKs. I'd check to see if they could maybe be swapped out, if you want.
